If so, have you noticed how the best of them seem to keep their cool amidst all the chaos, never seeming to mess up a drink order or give somebody the wrong change? For some, it may just be a gift, a natural ability to think on their feet. But for most, it takes the right kind of training to develop the skills and confidence to exude grace under pressure and to master the art of bartending. By attending the right bartending school, you can become more than just a bartender; you can learn to be a professional mixologist. You will not only learn how to mix any kind of drink, you will learn something just as important: how to treat customers like they deserve to be treated. Happy customers mean more than just repeat business for the establishment you are working for, but also more money in your pocket in the way of bigger tips. And satisfied customers do one more important thing: they refer other customers to your place of employment, which can also help your income grow. A top-flight school will help you get your bartender career off on the right foot. You will learn how to work under pressure, and how to keep the orders, not to mention the drinks, flowing all the way until closing time. You will also learn how to be a responsible bartender by learning the telltale signs that indicate when somebody has had a little too much to drink. And since there are always customers that prefer a non-alcoholic drink, you will discover the fine art of how to serve these folks, too. The best bartending schools will also provide you with practical, real-world experience, by allowing you to train behind an actual bar in order to get a true feel for the bartending job. You will be issued a bartending guide full of tips and resources to learn how to do the job right and to help you obtain the required bartending license. By the time you graduate, you will be a highly attractive candidate to any potential employer, and you will have the poise and confidence to succeed once you get that first bartending job.

The adult beverage industry is probably one of the most insulated career paths when it comes to good times and bad times. when times are good, people are”partying like it’s 1999″, and when times are bad people are drinking their troubles away. Not that we like to benefit from others misfortune, but facts are facts. While nearly every sector of the US economy is downsizing or outsourcing, the beverage industry is going strong. If any company in the beverage industry is losing money it is from bad management, not for lack of demand.

The advantage of attending bartending school versus other trade schools is that our courses are short, effective and relatively inexpensive. You can be working as a bartender within two to four weeks. Most other trade schools take from 9 months to two years to complete and cost thousands of dollars. Bartending school can give you peace of mind in a very short time.

For every party you can usually find lots of drink being served. These drinks can be the alcoholic variety and the non alcoholic type. For the non alcoholic type of drink all that you need to do is just serve the drinks as the guests like. For the alcoholic drinks you must know something about these drinks or you should get a professional bartender. The best bartenders today are trained at the ABC Bartending School.

This school teaches various people how to be top class bartenders in real life situations. There are many new classes that are being taught at the ABC Bartending School every week. At all of these classes students are given practical lessons in bartending and mixing drinks. The students learn the art of bartending behind a bar. Here they are faced with all of the implements that a bartender needs.

As they progress through the courses the students of the ABC Bartending School are taught the various aspects of being a bartender. They learn how to mix various types of alcoholic beverages and the correct names that many of these drinks are known as. They are conditioned to serving a multiple number of customers at the same time without getting the orders mixed up or completely wrong.

In addition ABC Bartending School students are shown how to make and serve all of these drinks at a quick pace. This is very important in a bar as well as at a party because if there is a lack of prompt service the customers will leave and there will be trouble for you with your boss. This also teaches the novice bartender the art of being able to handle high pressure situations with a calm attitude and a cheerful demeanor.

Besides learning how to make and serve drinks the students of the ABC Bartending School also learn how to be a responsible bartender. This means knowing the safety guide for serving drinks to the various customers. As this is now a requirement in many states in America the ABC Bartending School students have the edge in this business.

Setting up your own bar is actually rather easy to do. There are however, a few things that fine bartenders need to know to run a bar efficiently. In order for a bar to succeed, you`ll need to have the basic wines, liquors, and spirits – along with the right equipment. Although these things are essential, bartenders also need the proper technique for mixing drinks and cocktails as well.

With bartending, the location of the bar is very important. The bar should be placed in an area that is easy to reach and provides plenty of space behind it. There should be plenty of room for glasses and drinks, along with a chair or two as well. The bartender has to learn the area behind the bar, and know everything about it. Bartenders need to know their area well – and how to perform their mixing duties when business heats up.

Another job bartenders have is knowing their drinks. Bartenders are responsible for serving and mixing drinks, which is a wide variety to say the least. It can be nearly impossible to know every possible drink mixture, why is why most bartenders use mixing lists hidden under the bar to help them know what goes in each drink.

Bartenders don`t have a lot of time to mix drinks, which makes it nearly impossible to read each and every label. To help with this dilemma, you can always arrange your alcohol and drinks a certain way, to ensure that you know where everything is. This way, when business picks up and you find yourself short on time – you`ll know where everything is.

To become a successful bartender, or mixologist, it takes years of practice. There are several styles of bartending as well, including the well known and very impressive flair style. Flair bartending involves very exciting techniques and tricks, which will leave customers truly amazed. Flair is the hardest style of bartending to perfect, taking years and years of practice. Flair bartenders all around the world will tell you that flair brings the most crowds – although it can also cost a lot of money in broken bottles along the way!
